VAN COUNCIL
Van Council is the leading name in salon growth. His hands-on approach to building a salon culture has led to the opening of eight highly successful Atlanta-area Van Michael Salons. He has won North American Stylist of the Year, Avant Garde Stylist of the Year, and is a member of the Aveda Global Masters Team.
SUSAN DYKSTRA
Susan Dykstra has been CEO of Van Michael Salon since 2003. She oversees the company’s 375 employees and has led it to double-digit growth year-after-year. Susan invented the standard for employee evaluation that raised the bar for retention and success.
